It is quite evident that BJP is uncertain about their chances to make inroads in Tamilnadu,  which is why they have decided to ride on AIADMK -  It is absolutely for their own benefit and in the interest of increasing their stocks in the state. Many can still hear the cry of agony of the people of tamilnadu, during cylone and the subsequent lapses in restoration, due to negligence of state's fund by BJP. It is not easily forgettable for the victims, and it was perceived as a dereliction of the centre government, considering Tamilnadu was a non BJP ruled state. How can a prime minister, who took oath under the indian constitution, which speaks high of ensuring justice, liberty, equality and fraternity be so partial? And to remorselessly show up during the election , and vociferates at the lapses of the state government is an obtuseness, if not whimsical. His large warm gestures, beguiling smile, light-hearted wits and twinkling small eyes set him apart from other politicians. In spite of his busy schedule,  he always finds time for his friends and well-wishers, and most importantly pays attention to, and ensure to take note of , if some of their suggestions are valuable and worth considering. The sexagenerian politician is the most sought after man in the Royapuram constituency,  for his affable and generous nature. In fact, some of the local people are of the credulous that it was only under his leadership,  the constituency showed good progress in terms of development. Our intention is not to find fault at BJP, and deliberately make them culpable for someone's else deportment. It is all on the book, for the readers to cross verify, and make a judgement for themselves. And he has further added that "we are undermining AIADMK,  it is the second big thing in Tamilnadu politics, and certainly pounce back". As we head closer and closer to the election, almost all the parties are hitting the road already, protesting , propagating,  and standing hand in hand with the people of the state,  except for Mr Vijay, who continues his politics inside the airconditioned hall with the help of his chums - Bussy Anand and Aadhav Arjuna..  We see DMK and AIADMK party leaders sweating under the scorching sun, reaching out to the people with their manisfesto, achievements, shortfalls and mission. History is likely to be repeated in Tamilnadu with BJP-AIADMK alliance is savagely  vanquished in the 2026 election. It is so unfortunate that the 2nd largest party of Tamilnadu fall prey to the deceitful, willy-nilly, wilful exploiter - BJP. Many were so engrossed to the tube, till 3 months back,  as the election was heading towards the contest between DMK-AIADMK and in no time it has turned topsy turvy.  Guess all might agree to my view that there have been a backlash in Tamilnadu , against each and every move of BJP, right from the day they took over the reins. Infact, not long ago, we gave a counterblast on Hindi imposition, Irregularities in funding to the state government,  Delimitation, Waqf, Price rise, and minorities appeasement.   And amid the outrageous act of the centre government,  and outcry of the People of Tamilnadu over the discriminatory practices and fanatical ideologies, without any contrition,   impetuously AIADMK declare...

Quite incomprehensible as to why the Tamil news media is giving so much of attention, hype and importance to BJP , when they don't even have a considerable share of votes in the state.  Most of them see it as a party , which is heavily dependent  upon the mercy of AIADMK to stay afloat, and to make them talk like a power behind the throne is an hyperbole and the way the party dictating terms to AIADMK is irksome. And In spite of being rejected continuously,  they keep on coming back in various disguise.  But we are sure that they are not going to make any differences, and only take us back to the primitive state with their hidebound ideologies. Even the BJP ruled states are not much development, as we speak the postmortem of the tragic aircrash's victims are delayed due to poor facilities in the government hospital in Ahmedabad.  In fact, Tamilnadu ia far better than Gujarat in terms of Healthcare. Sometimes, I ponder where is Mr Modi investing all our tax money...

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it, quotes the great business tycoon, Mr Henry Ford. From the business standpoint, an aircraft should spend the maximum time in the sky, due to high parking charges, fluctuating fuel prices and to cover the expenses and enjoy a decent share of profit in India. And i have personally seen aircrafts , immediately taking off in a rush , post arrival from the destination. When such is the business expectation, i wonder if they have  time to ensuring the condition of each and every components, if not to religiously follow the checklist. There is already an election like mood palpable in the state of Tamilnadu,  with party leaders shuttling between places, aiming at reaching out to the wider public. The accusation of the opposition parties,  and rebutt of the ruling government is arising curiosity, and glued us all to the tube. How often we see such an excitement and readiness a year ahead to the election? And what is even more compelling is the spirit of party cadres to hustle around,  with an excitement to propagate in the interst of their partys win. Unlike the last election,  this time there has been a huge elation among the 1st time voters and youngsters, thanks to Mr Vijay, for instilling positivity and hope. As compare to other Airlines, Air-India maintenence standards are  very poor. Back then, I thought it had been only because of the government of India , and once it moved out of their hand,  and Tata takes over it again,  the fleet would have a facelift. But it was disappointing to see there has been no improvement in the standards, and the Tata had almost given up their interest in the airline business, when the government of india pressurized them, and they forcibly took over it again. The election 2026 is going to be the most interesting, and far more unique than any other election ever contested, for the distinctive flavour of contests in the race, speaking of which i see the momentum getting regained by some of the old fox. Vinveli Nayagan is duly equipped, and kick starts his election work, by mentoring scores of his party workers of Royapuram constituency at his office today, also takes cognizant of the challenges ahead of them.  By far, he has the edge over Mr Idreams Murty.  And when I spoke with few of the localities, Most of them are of the opinion that the present representive is a complete let down, and disappointment.  They charged him for being inaccessible, and displaying poor leadership qualities. Air transport is the best of all services in the world and our flight crew are the smartest to overcome all the sky turbulence. Ofcourse, all the transport has it own pros and cons, and airservies are of no exception.  And in this situation,  I  could recall a scene from the movie Rain man, in which Dustin Huffman scares to step onto the aircraft, fearing a crash and Tom cruise evokes his wisdom, by running the statistics of air crash and road crash.. and my heart goes out to all the victims.. Alrighty... It is DMK and TVK -  The prime contenders in the 2026 election,  and let's decode the pros and cons of both the parties in run up to the election. Mr Vijay's TVK is so young and vibrant, filled with enthusiastic, energetic, and adventurous teenagers,  whereas DMK is legendary , conventional and rooted  in Tamilnadu. And as compare to TVK , DMK is sizeable, if not no comparison.  They are strong in tradition voting, booth workers and also on legacy attraction. But , there are some advantages for TVK too. They are new, untested, loyal fan following, alternative,  vibrative,  and secular. As per the reports sourced from the ground, Mr Vijay can't form the government,  but has considerable popularity, and loyalist,  to push AIADMK to number 3. Is Mr MK Stalin setting the benchmark for the Chiefministership in Tamilnadu and to remain an unbeatable leader in the political history of Tamilnadu? You call him names, accuse him for being a nightmare to Hindutuva politics, and a ravana to BJP. But as per the statistics,  he is the best CM that Tamilnadu has ever had. Tamilnadu fiscal performance in 2024-25 has been all time high, with strong increase in revenue from the states own tax revenue (SOTR), contributing 75.4% of the total. And also there has been an spike in volume of investment in Education and Healthcare,  irrespective of the funding from the centre government. And what we are informed by the data scientist are that Tamilnadu government generated self-funding through taxation, fees and investment, thus not depending on the centres fund. The shambles in the NDA alliance is seriously dispiriting the respective party cadres and sympathizers as a whole and giving way to speculations and ambiguity.  Quite comprehensible that DMK alliance is so prodigious, given their formidable partners. And to undo them using the old technique of political horse trading is not appealing - Not to be seen as a fair politics. It is ok for Mr Amit Shah and BJP , ebbing so low, to carve out a political space for them , but certanly not ok with AIADMK.  And instead of calling for an all party meet , and taking consensus over the declared alliance, propelling their youtubers to gossip, and mudslinging,  is unpardonable.  But something to be done to stay relevance, i guess AIADMK can still do it. - Sundaresan Thankappan 

Rumor has it that Mr Eps is likely to ditch BJP, before the election: The end of the world is almost factored into pieces. Most of them are aware as to how difficult it is to get on with the most incompatible alliance,  in the teeth of the own party cadres displeasure,  and amid public outcry.  And inspite of being tenacious , the speech of Mr Amit Shah in Madurai has disappointed the cheif of AIADMK. And Mr TTV Dhinakaran press meet has only further annoyed him. Infact, it was viewed by the party seniors as rubbing salt on a festering wound. Even though Mr Eps does not want to pull out, it looks like the behaviour of some of the BJP leaders are considered as a threat to the alliance and before their image get disreputed, they are likely to take a call. Much have been discussed about the freakish alliance between AIADMK-BJP.  When an outsider like me could make out of the repercussions, i wonder how come the leadership of the AIADMK don't. It has been almost 2 months, since the formation of the alliance, and not once both the party leaders have come together, and taken to the road in protest against the ruling government for their lapses, or any of their unpopular moves, which goes to show how divided they are . And How well the election could have been contested by AIADMK , had they not joined BJP? The mean-spiritedness and connivance of some the senior leaders have put the party in such a horrible situation.  When an astute political party like AIADMK goes out in public with a loud admonition on the law and order lapses, it could have gained them a good reputation,  and gave a political momentum.  And by joining with BJP, they have created an uncertainty for themselves.  And from the commoner standpoint, our ...

No sooner had i sat down, than the door knocked. And when I swing the door open, Pertie stood at the doorway, with a sad face. It has been a while, since she visited me. Ofcourse,  not after the declaration of AIADMK-BJP alliance.  I let her in, and secured the door. She seemed quite disgruntled,  and to make her snap back. Without a coherent set of agenda'', BJP always plays Hindutuva cards, when it comes to election, if not all the time.  So far the state of Tamilnadu has forbidden them , and now, AIADMK has given them a new lease on life to propagate their Hindutuva ideologies and a  chance to make inroads in Tamilnadu.  Disappointing to see that BJP has not changed their attitude yet , infact only become more fervent in their fanaticism,  and the recent lord Muruga conference is the best example.  Instead of placing a sensible arguments against the ruling government and fighting the election, they resort to the widdershins direction.. With such an imprudent demeanour, it is quite unlikely that they can give a fight to the ruling DMK. Infact , The election is already won hands down. But , Behemoth like AIADMK extending support  to them, even after realising they will lose the muslims and dalits votes is quite disappointing. And mixing religion with politics is unfair ,and u...

I would like to put forth my arguments in a more structured manner.  The intention of the BJP is to make an inroad in Tamilnadu,  and drive the state the same way they drive Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat and it is almost certain that AIADMK is only going to play the supporting role in the alliance. And to ameliorate the situation of the state,  the toxic authorative behaviour and blinkered attitude of BJP should be set aside , and DMK is the only option in front of us, for Eps is losing his credibility as a leader for his ultra insane decision making skill, leadership and his failure to embrace and drive the ally partner as the big brother and not to forget we are also hearing the dissant voice within AIADMK,  which is already reverberating across the pillars of AIADMK headquarters.  I am not doubting the potential of the other players in the race, but i am skeptical if they can reach the magical number to form the government - Mr Seeman has only clocked 8%, and Vij...

Some of the numbskull youtubers are gossiping without any authenticity that Mr Vijay is sharing the stage with Mr Amit Shah and the home minister is coming with a far-reachinng set of plans to lift the spirit of the NDA ally. And what we learn from our source is that it is only to impress the AIADMK leadership, who is funding them. But the actual reason for the visit is to enchance the credibility of the BJP's image among the people of Tamilnadu, appeasing the dissonant voice within the alliance, deal the friction and it is only because of all these reasons,  Amit Shah is scurrying to Madurai. There is a notion abhorrent to the saffron extermism in Tamilnadu due to their policies, philophies, ideas, and authorative deportment. And According to BJP, elections are contested by coerced and unleashing threats through their influence and power, and Tamilnadu is of no exception for them. Sometimes , DMK partners are their worst enemies, and in order to please them their partner gets into mudslinging and go so low in their conduct. Mr Velmurugan choice of words are deliberately used to insult, and create a sort of stir in the society. If Mr Vijay were not seen as a threat, they could simply carry on with their work and not wasting their time, talking about him. He is not even showing up in public, but remains in headlines, thanks to DMK for ensuring to keep him alive in politics in spite of his absence, through all these derogatory and hate speeches. And how narrow are his thoughts? Don't their parents care more about their kids well-being then Mr Velmurugan? How their parents would have taken all these nonsense which were simply aimed for someone's political gains? DMK is failing to understand that all these silly acts would only advantage TVK, and bring the reputation of DMK down with election round the corner. His energy is infectious, and balance in equilibrium when faced with both disappointment and jubliation is quite enviable.  Certainly a chamer of masses, committed to his party ideologies and leadership commands. A Late AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa loyalist, and her references takes precedence in his speech.  What we miss of him is his continous absence appearing in front of the press and media.  Ofcourse,  I have captured in my previous blogs, how unfazed he is even when a toughest question posed at him. Just for our readers, he starts his day at 6 pm in the morning, and closes it at 12 midnight, attending scores of public functions,  party meetings, constituency works and meeting the cadres and party functionies at his office. Never appear tired , with his characteristic witty repartee through out the day. At times, i wonder if he has a good work life balance,  as he is mostly seen in the field. Looks like the purpose of Mr Amit Shah visit is to bridging the gap between NDA with PMK and DMDK and to seal a deal.  It is being reported that Mr Shah has learnt from the sources that there is an uncertainty looming large over the position of PMK and DMDK.  And it is more or less like his previous visit , aiming at bringing back the alliance together,  and when I tried to ascertain the position of DMDK with a senior partymen. "Our party chief will only declare in the conference slated for  January in Cuddalore. What is even more interesting is that Mr Ops has already shown his readiness for the meeting so is TTV, and both look so high in spirit, hoping to revive their positions.  And Nainar Nagendran has already informed that BJP leadership is not likely to interfere in the PMK internal issues.  However, Amit Shah is a shwerd politician and certainly come with an agenda. - Sundaresan T

The battleground is just shaping up, and in all probability, it is expected to be a fight between MK Stalin and Amit Shah, as BJP center leadership is overshadowing Eps already. With a series of negligence to the state of Tamilnadu,  BJP is likely to be pushed back by the ruling DMK government with very little effort,  if not effortlessly. In spite of being vocal against the atrocities of BJP till two months back, it was an insane decision for the AIADMK to join the NDA alliance again. And Eps will be again back to square one , fighting against VK Sasikala, Ops, and TTV for retaining his position in AIADMK,  if Amit Shah forces him to consider all the parted AIADMK Sr leaders again. According to many, it is seen as quite unnecessary for Mr Eps,  and approximated to shooting himself in the foot. By declaring alliance with BJP, AIADMK has risked their chances in the 2026 election. And what is even worse for them are the friction in PMK , and delay from the DMDK side in acknowledging their presence in the NDA alliance. In addition to the above, There is an new headache just arrived in the form of TTV. He states that "Amit Shah has proposed an idea of bringing all the Jayalalitha's loyalist under one roof, which will further dampen their vitality. It looks like Amit Shah is calling the shot as to who is in , who is out, which will ultimately result in a serious leadership crisis in AIADMK. With very little chance of Vijay joining the NDA, it is almost certain that AIADMK-BJP alliance is heading for a disasterous loss in the election. None of the AIADMKIAN's can picture Eps, Ops, Sasikala and TTV sharing stage with Amit shah taking the center seat. And all these are only going to advantage DMK , and most likely embarass AIADMK. - Sundaresan T

What AIADMK has done is that they've forged the alliance with BJP against the sentiments of the state of Tamilnadu.  When there was still a year for the election,  Many see it as so prematured,  impetuous, and annouced without gauging the pulse of people, party cadres and ground reality. Except for dethroning the DMK government from power,  what is that common agenda  between the two parties. AIADMK views on Minorities,  Dalits, Muslim appeasement,  Delimitation, ONOE, Hindi imposition, Waqf, dravidianism,  pluralism, secularism, periyarism,  Annaism, federalism are dianametrically opposite from BJP. There is a high chance that these two parties would break away in between, considering the opposing voices within the party. And going by Mr Vijay's statement  , he is quite assertive that he would not consider an alliance with BJP.  If he decides to, he would lose his credibility,  and also a considerable share of his own votes. -...

Yes, there are indiffereces over the alliance with BJP,  and Mr D Jayakumar alias Vinveli Nayagan was quite vocal, and expressed it with everyone , including me. And not all Well in AIADMK.  You sit there and you thump your Bible. And you say your prayers. And it didn't get you anywhere  and i am by him.. And it's more likely that Mr D Jayakumar is exposing him, and coming out with the ideologies of AIADMK.  I guess as per the reports , AIADMK is heading to the worst defeat in their political history. Also Premalatha Vijaykanth is likely to join the DMK alliance .. The reports of minorities votes were already tabled to Mr DJ, and he convinced , it would be upside down and so convinced to post this blog. That's all I think of Tamilnadu election result, and almost certain that DMK is winning the election,  and i told the same with Mr D Jayakumar and he reflected my opinion to an extent.  And most unfortunate is that Eps is still believing the sham statistics ...

Remember vividly , when an anchor of Asianet News addressed Kalaigar as Karunanidhi,  Haneefa Chetan promptly said how old and patriot he is , so address him as Kalaigar. And to condole his death in spite of hailing from a different state showed his compassion and patriotism.  And I guess my blog would answer the cheap AIADMK sponsored Youtubers.  Such was the respect Mr Karunanidhi in political history and just for favoring one side, and your sponsor,  dont bring such a legend down. He must have been the only politician to have handled Congress, BJP, BSP, CPI leadership in an amicable way. Bhai aur Behno:DMK is winning the 2026 election,  not because of pro-incumbency it is because of the weak opposition. Eps is such a failure. He failed to highlight the lapses of DMK government all these years, and it is only because election is nearing doing all the political stunts. What was expected from them was to act as an opposition party leader, and what he did was he  pulled out and join back the same BJP party within 1 year  and remained in hiatus,  despite of all the failures of the ruling party, which has put his image and reputation in doubt, pushed a step back. Guess what, no next generation voters are willing to vote and so are minorities, and anti DMK, because of the BJP factor. Can Mrs Premalatha Vijaykanth repeat what Ms Jayalalitha did to Mr Vajpayee back in 99 , by pulling out of AIADMK alliance, in the interest of her party growth and its legacy? Wonder why she is delaying the decision to take a stand in favour of her party, and retaliating to the betrayal of AIADMK.. It is with undoubted , and unbiased report,  we blog that the turf is favoring DMK, and it was very much that Vijay is going to take the position of opposition with only winning 20 seats, just like Mr Vijaykanth pushing DMK back in 2011 election. What would be running in the mind of Eps, seeing their parters breaking away from the alliance and studying the reality and ground reports? Just imagine: A party, which had been floated by Mr Kamal Hassan 5 years back and did part time politics, has managed to win a ticket to Rajya sabha, and The great Vijayakanths DMDK , once the opposition party of Tamilnadu still not able to catch up and realise their dream to make it to the national level. Between DMK and AIADMK,  DMK is seen more trustable, and certainly reliable as compare to AIADMK by the partners and observers. Going by the ground reports , AIADMK is heading for the worst defeat in their political history, and when such is the case, there is no guarantee that they will honour their commitment to DMDK. We consider it as an disdainment to such a legendary actor, who is loved and envied by MF Husain, Ashok Kumar, Dev Anand, Rishi Kapoor,  Bharathan , Gollapudi Srinivasan,  Shankar Nag, Satyajit ray, Shyam Benegal, Shivaji Ganeshan, Karunanidhi, Om Puri and Nasurdeen Shah, if not even LK Advani after the screening of Heyram. Vinveli Nayagan is heading for a political suicidal,  by not talking at a time, when it is very much needed.. And his silences are not going to help. And the win in 2026 means a lot to him politically, and apolitically.   Mrs Premalatha Vijayakanth is already sending jitters to Mr Eps and AIADMK, through her tweets, ,and by not taking any call on the alliance yet. As far as many concerned, she is quite smart, assertive and conscious of the ground reality,  unlike Mr Eps, who hurriedly announced the alliance with BJP, in spite of opposing voices within his own party. And going by the popular opinions, senior leaders and partyment of DMDK have already hinted to Mrs Vijayakanth that Turf is favoring DMK, and its very much unlikely Mr Eps is going to turn it around. Even Mr Sudeesh body language during the press meet yesterday was quite disappointing,  if not dispriting.     How relevant the great Mr Karunanidhi is even today in Tamilnadu politics. If his literatery works are seen as incredible, so are his political strokes. When I think of him, my memory goes back to the formation of UPA-I, Emergency,  his friendship with VP Singh, enthusiasm for technologies and his meet up with Mr Gates, Chandrababu Naidu meeting with him for dividing Andhra Pradesh into two different state's, and Mamta Banerjee reaching out to him on singur Tata's controversy and her subsequent hunger strike,  so on and so forth. What an outstanding statesman he was, but shown less interest on the national level, in spite of having a huge potential and popularity in political capital. Outside Tamilnadu,  he was so much respected and regarded as a revolutionarist. Our Vinveli Nayagan continues to avoid the press and remain elusive vis-a-vis to his displeasure over the BJP alliance, and the Rajya sabha ticket. Rumor mills that even he deliberately visited Pollachi Jayaraman's son marriage at an odd time, to avoid facing with Eps. And as per the ground reports , Party workers are already throwing tantrum in both Virugambakkam and Royapuram , due to the impetuous decision to ally with BJP. He had raised his objection over the alliance in the very beginning , and it was not heeded by the party high command, as they considered the alliance would bring fortunes to the kongu belt. In spite of all these challenges,  Our Messaiah continues to believe that the BJP-AIADMK alliance will break away, amid of November or December.  All the differences apart, Our D Jayakumar is a great and gentle soul,  whose humility would drown you.. AIADMK is cheaply politicing the abuse against a woman in the Anna University,  instead of appreciating the good work of police officials, and the advocates. And shaming the victim is so disappointing. And from the layman standpoint,  if the sir is known to the AIADMK,  who is stopping them to name him. And in the history of Tamilnadu,  this must be the first time a perpetrator brought to book in the shortest time frame. How humble and elegance, is our honourable cheif minister,  and his gestures during dinning with the DMK cadres stole many hearts. It is with certainity that we declare that there is a leadership crisis in AIADMK,  and very litte trust left on the existing chief.   Mr Vijayakanth would have taken a call now, if his strength was doubted and untrusted, but Mrs Vijayakanth is taking time, and testing the patience of her cadres. Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears to hear the downfall of a party which was launched with so much of delight, excitement and positivity.  "It is so unfortunate that a party which once set the tone for Tamilnadu has fallen in line to BJP for their personal gains", mumbles a partyman in Royapuram.  And the connectivity and displeasure are palpable as AIADMK heads to a consecutive defeat. Readers, it is almost confirmed that DMDK chief Mrs Premalatha Vijayakanth is taking a stand against AIADMK,  for she consider declining a Rajya sabha ticket as a betrayal, and arrogance.  And she is likely to call a party meet to discuss the pros and cons of AIADMK alliance, and understand the majority among their cadres, much ahead of her party meet in January. As per the sources, it was Mr Sudheesh who is pushing Mrs Vijayakanth,  because of the back and forth statements of AIADMK.  Rumor mills that they are all set to reach out to Mr Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin,  to negotiate for a Rajya sabha ticket, and further inroads, understaning the ground reports.  All those youtubers and thinktankers claims that DMK cant accomodate is so laughable, its just 2-3 seats and its is doable for dmk. My memory leaps back to 2016 election... She was ill, the odds were against her, even the statistics and political calculations opposed her chances.  But she emerged as a victor, with her daring courage,  determination,  never dieing attitude, and fiery speech.  A tall leader would be an understatement , and as per the books I read on Indira, and testimony of some of the congressmen, I rate Ms.Jayalalalitha ahead of her. Ms Indira was naive, less informed , insecured, and more than all She was in a bubble of her own. Of course, I am planning to write a blog on Mr Feroze Gandhi and his addiction to alcohal due to indifferences with Indira which eventually ended in a cardiac arrest.  But J Jayalalitha lived a life of a caretaker, compassionate  and a visionarian, with high thoughts, and church park nurtured decent deeds.   AIADMK is so mean, that it is only based on the outcome of the 2026 election, a ticket to Rajya sabha will be confirmed for DMDK. DMDK should understand the ground reality that the turf is in favour of DMK, it is very much unlikely for an AIADMK win and in fact as per the ground reports, they are going to face the worst defeat of alltime.   Mr MK Stalin is emerging as the single largest force in the 2026 election with majority of parties in Tamilnadu likely to joining hands with him, including DMDK. And quite unfortunate that AIADMK mostly be left only with BJP.
