Shoot your confetti, drop your baloon!

Rahul Gandhi,  the great grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru has turned 54 today and as the congressmen celebrate his birthday across the nation , we will take a look at his political career, intently. As someone hails from a congress family , i always want them to do well, and in the interest of it, I would like to capture my views and expectations from Mr. Jr Gandhi.

Unlike other politicians,  Rahul Gandhi was handed the role of the chief of Congress party on a silver plate, given his family legacy. And naturally,  the expectation too was high, not only for the family lineage, but also for being young and with so much potential.

However, Somewhere in between he lost it completely and given way for his criticizer to maul him.  And What was expected of him as the opposition was to Strom the parliament, and dress down the Modi Sarkar for their fanaticism,  favorism and jingoism. But, He failed to hold on to the advantages that the party had , and gave into the political pressure.

Sometimes it is very hard to read him, for he never talks his mind. Infact, i get a feel that He might want to speak so much,  but end up a laconic.

According to many, so far, he is a big let down, but expecting him to pull up his socks and come back, as the nation wants the congress to survive and fight the fanatics who divide and rule us in the name of religion..

Considering his young age, atleast as per the Indian politics, he can still transform into a formidable leader, provided he becomes more aggressive, optimistic, courageous and attentive to the challenges of India.
