More pink slips on the cards!


TCS is often referred to a government job, for the job security it offers, and it is so shocking to see it has laid off close to 12k employees, whilst Tech Mahindra for its part continues to offer pink slips to a huge number. 

What is happening in the IT industry is nothing short of a Job massacre, and just to become a "future-ready organisation ", focusing on investment in technology, AI deployment, market expansion and workforce deployment, they have given up on the mid-level and senior level employees.

It is understandle if in case, the company is running on loss. Jeez , TCS is on the profitable side and the chairman without any hitch takes a salary of 150 crores, but unfortunately the poor employees in the salary range of 15 and 20 lakhs being fired from Job.

It has raised a broader question , how realistic and genuine is the employment data that the IT affairs publishes month on month basis.

And all we get to hear from the Indian government is that IT affairs ministry is closely monitoring the situation.

Yes, there are indiffereces over the alliance with BJP,  and Mr D Jayakumar alias Vinveli Nayagan was quite vocal, and expressed it with everyone , including me. I am writing to our external affairs to cancel his passport and all other citizenship documents and of course of  his lilliputians as well,  for talking ill of our ex primeminister Late Mr Rajiv Gandhi and encouraging the next generation kids to consume toddy, and revolt against the Indian constitution and create a law and order crisis, by declaring we killed Rajiv Gandhi. And you are tagged to the external ministery, including my champ Mr Subramanian swamy. According to me, he is a man of past , uneducated, barbaric and who does not belong to the soil of India , but of his LTTE terrorist Prabhakaran of Srilanka. . And all his preaches are so outdated, and he himself psychologically so affected and giving an impression of a terrorist.  And he is not understanding that all his hypers are based on the films they saw, and living in the fantasy land. Hustle without hassle!

Air transport is the best of all services in the world and our flight crew are the smartest to overcome all the sky turbulence. Ofcourse, all the transport has it own pros and cons, and airservies are of no exception.  And in this situation,  I  could recall a scene from the movie Rain man, in which Dustin Huffman scares to step onto the aircraft, fearing a crash and Tom cruise evokes his wisdom, by running the statistics of air crash and road crash.. and my heart goes out to all the victims.. No doubt , Aircraft has its own disadvantages, in terms of altitude and combustible proneness, but it is a great innovation of mankind which should be admired, and utilized of.. Deadliest of all the crash is the 1996 charkha Dadri mid-air collision.. Just imagine an aircraft crashing head to head.
