En souvenir du grand homme d'État!

 

 

How relevant the great Mr Karunanidhi is even today in Tamilnadu politics. If his literatery works are seen as incredible, so are his political strokes.

When I think of him, my memory goes back to the formation of UPA-I, Emergency,  his friendship with VP Singh, enthusiasm for technologies and his meet up with Mr Gates, Chandrababu Naidu meeting with him for dividing Andhra Pradesh into two different state's, and Mamta Banerjee reaching out to him on singur Tata's controversy and her subsequent hunger strike,  so on and so forth.

What an outstanding statesman he was, but shown less interest on the national level, in spite of having a huge potential and popularity in political capital.

Outside Tamilnadu,  he was so much respected and regarded as a revolutionarist. And so much of him is being missed, be it protecting dravidianism, secularism, dalits rights, periyarism , Nationalism,  and defending the federalism. 

Needless to say , even at his deathbed, he remained a nightmare to all his enemies.  And many at centre considered that If Karunanidhi steps in, we can win the votes, and appease minorities. 

Most of all his strength to combat emergency,  and oppression of Indira Government,  and the political atrocities... your legacy is intact and so rooted which we never die or taken away by anyone..

Yes, there are indiffereces over the alliance with BJP,  and Mr D Jayakumar alias Vinveli Nayagan was quite vocal, and expressed it with everyone , including me. And not all Well in AIADMK.  You sit there and you thump your Bible. And you say your prayers. And it didn't get you anywhere  and i am by him.. And it's more likely that Mr D Jayakumar is exposing him, and coming out with the ideologies of AIADMK.  I guess as per the reports , AIADMK is heading to the worst defeat in their political history. Also Premalatha Vijaykanth is likely to join the DMK alliance .. The reports of minorities votes were already tabled to Mr DJ, and he convinced , it would be upside down and so convinced to post this blog. That's all I think of Tamilnadu election result, and almost certain that DMK is winning the election,  and i told the same with Mr D Jayakumar and he reflected my opinion to an extent.  And most unfortunate is that Eps is still believing the sham statistics ...

Hustle without hassle!

Air transport is the best of all services in the world and our flight crew are the smartest to overcome all the sky turbulence. Ofcourse, all the transport has it own pros and cons, and airservies are of no exception.  And in this situation,  I  could recall a scene from the movie Rain man, in which Dustin Huffman scares to step onto the aircraft, fearing a crash and Tom cruise evokes his wisdom, by running the statistics of air crash and road crash.. and my heart goes out to all the victims.. No doubt , Aircraft has its own disadvantages, in terms of altitude and combustible proneness, but it is a great innovation of mankind which should be admired, and utilized of.. Deadliest of all the crash is the 1996 charkha Dadri mid-air collision.. Just imagine an aircraft crashing head to head. Did Mr Vijay and TVK play politics with human life?

"Fire had already been doused, and there were no victims and TVK merely played politics by encroaching curfew, and making political stunts",  says a policeman. The women functionaries of TVK were being obstructed, and hit, when they were at the ground to distribute relief materials to the fire Victims in Vyasarpadi, and thats the statement, and it was not true.. And these were all serious charges, as they were not in power, and only in the interest of lending the helping hands , claims a functionry of TVK. But we would want to understand from the Police standpoint, before commenting anything. More often than not, Even criminals accuse Police, so we want to ensure that who was at wrong before commenting and what made them to take such stand, we would not publish anything.
