Old & Passe!

Myself and Pertie landed in Bangalore , two weeks back in Bangalore, and The moment we did, Pertie was premedited to discuss with the kannadigas on the two pressing issues of Tamilnadu- Cauvery and Thug life. And as we approach a section of Top ranks , they proudly say that Kannada born from Sanskrit and Mr Kamal Hassan in his 70's became crazy and babbling nonsense. Since it was a movie, and the success only matters to its private house, we decided not to debate any further and moved onto the cauvery issue. They were kind enough to tell us that we never developed hatred, it was only your state, kidnapping our MLA and Superstar, and almost killing them, and creating a law and order crisis. Further went on to say that all you read about us in your tamil newspapers were cooked up stories, for the ruling government favours, and not real. You guys call us names, treat us so bad, but we never crossed our line and spoke anything ill. And your Annamalai knows the cauvery dispute in detail...

Jalapeno vs Kanthari!

Never once doubted the greatness or the dominance of the US, but I only pray to them to remain a fence-sitter, with an unbiased view when it comes to India and Pakistan. And as we capture the telling story, India is forlorn as the US finds them as a competition, and untouchable. And the way the US is treating the Indians is quite discouraging, inspite of our contribution to the economy of the US. Might find it too proud, our talents were to do the undoable and remain on demand because of their mastery in maths and science.  To ignore them, and releasing statements to unhire and fire the Indians in US is not taken in right spirit by my fellow citizens. And declare openly, that it is only the south Indians holding high profiles and mastering the coding jargons. I am sure that Modi could do very little, in line with it, as he is so afraid of Angrezi and Mr Trump's unpredictable attitude. On a lighter note, we were captivated and charmed by the donald duck, than donald trump, when we t...

The bangalore diaries - Kappa, Chakka, Kandhari, Kattan and Pazham pori - Part I

Seriously don't understand why is that we fail to acknowledge the real talents, and try to find solace in the most corrupted, barbaric, and unschooled politicians. Certainly, it is a blog to sell Mr Annamalai and his quotient and political acumen. And as I write this blog, I am at Vasanth nagar, bangalore, and it is drizzling. And blown away  by the city's administration, and the leadership to maintain standard of it. And inspite of continuous rain, I never see water logged anywhere or choas. And let's cut the chase, Mr Annamalai is a household name of Karnataka, and they all compare him to Singam Surya, for his straightforward and gutsy attitude. Infact, more than Rajinikanth he is well received. Personally, I have never seen a tamil politician educated as Mr Annamalai, whose recent speech in middle East displayed his vision and forethinking disposition. And the way he projected himself as a voice of change won hearts of many youngsters. As I am deported to Bangalore for a...

Prioritizing leisure over responsibility!

How insensitive it is for the leadership to watch a movie and tweet its review, whilst the state is in turmoil with an unprecedented protests and uproar?  It is disheartening to witness a party, which declares themselves as the most democratic and people friendly indulge in a movie retreat, amid of upheaval. Not being cynic, and pointing at them, just for a sake or out of political interest or hatred, but with a profound conviction and good intention. And all these public demurral are only showing the true colour of the politicians in power.  And This is the time for the government to restore the trust and faith, and  emphasize that "We are with you and care for you".. But, they are unmindful of the pain and grief of the poor sanitation workers and evading from their responsibilities.   The protest is already becoming the talking point in Bengaluru, and it will slowly spread across the nation, and show the ruling government in the poor light, if they don't address th...

The pet peeve of the state!

Image
It is disappointing to see that our ruling government is not addressing the concerns of the sanitation workers, in spite of their continuous outcry and protest. Not sure why  they are turning a blind eye towards a community, which has dedicated their life to keeping our state neat and tidy . Also little did we know as to why there has been a deafening silence from our so called "The champion of the Tamil's cause", Mr MK Stalin over the demands of the refuse collectors. It seems like he only speaks up the negligence of the central goverment, but not his own.  The privatisation of waste management operations will have a serious impact on the livelihood of the waste collector. And the ruling government failure to keep up the promises, like regularising their jobs, and increasing their wages have further pushed them back, if not added fuel to the fire. And this is the same government, which speaks so high of themselves, and vociferous to have fulfilled the maximum electoral p...

Expandable in the making!

We declare a war , and got an understanding among us to work together, and our aim is to outdo the DMK IT wing. Coming with a strong conviction and resolution, to bring back the corrupt free government. It is not just an another read for the ruling government, it is a declaration. And all my friends are doing a great job, my only job is to support and work with them, to bring back the people's rule . And in run up to the election, AIADMK is planning to tie up with the Cisco and NCG to milk their bandwidth and to nullify their IP related challenges. All the four brothers getting together, brother, and more curious to work with the bro, Swamy, man with datas and factuals.. Looking forward to the beginning of the end! - Sundaresan Thankappan

Encountering a vulnerable lioness!

All I remember of her are the charming smile, eloquent speech, twinkling eyes and daring attitude.  Such a charismatic leader, whose transformation from a gorgeous actress to an outstanding politician is captivating. In order to realize her undaunted attitude, we would have to leap back to the year 2004, when she was interviewed for BBC by the Senior journalist, Mr Karan Thapar. As someone born in Tamilnadu and grew up watching debates and interviews of the national leaders on the English news channels, there was a myth, and complex in me that our south indian politicians were not as articulate,  as daring, as westernised and as good as their counterparts in the northern india. It was long before the arrival of Mr Anbumani Ramdoss, Mr Dayanidhi Maran, Mrs Kanimozhi, and the young Mr Tejaswi surya to the national politics. Infact, it was the time, when the national media too was scornful with a preconceived opinion of our south indian politicians and dismissive of their intelle...
